Intel Xeon E5-2696 v2 vs AMD EPYC 4244P

The AMD EPYC 4244P is newer than Intel Xeon E5-2696 v2 @ 2.50GHz and is significantly faster in multi-threaded (CPU Mark) testing. It is also significantly faster in single-thread testing. Also, AMD EPYC 4244P uses substantially less power. All the CPUs in this comparison belong in the Server CPU Class. The values below were tabulated from a combined 107 benchmarks submitted from our PerformanceTest software and results and are updated daily to include new submissions.
